Why choose the Novy 1773 induction hob?

Choose the Novy 1773 if you want a premium 65cm induction hob with four large octagonal zones that can bridge into two flexible cooking areas. It suits keen cooks using bigger pans, griddles or roasters, with slider touch controls, Power boost, Chef and Grill functions, three keep-warm temperatures and InTouch control for compatible Novy hoods. Flush or surface mounting keeps the black glass finish clean and built-in.

Novy Induction Pro 1773 65cm Induction Hob

The Novy Induction Pro 1773 65cm induction hob is designed for flexible, controlled cooking, with four octagonal cooking zones that give you greater freedom when positioning pans.

Each zone includes a Power function, significantly increasing the power when required. This is ideal for tasks such as bringing a large amount of water to the boil quickly.

Flexible Cooking with Bridge and Chef Functions

The Bridge function lets you link two adjoining zones and control them together in one movement, making it especially useful for larger pots, pans and grill cooking. In the Pro range, this linking happens automatically.

The Chef function automatically links the Bridge zones at the touch of a button. The right-hand zone is set to level 9 for intensive cooking or frying, the centre zone to level 6 for simmering, and the left-hand zone to level 4 for keeping food warm. These settings can be adjusted if needed.

Keep-Warm Settings and Grill Cooking

The keep-warm function makes it easy to maintain a constant temperature. The Novy Induction Pro 1773 includes a 70°C keep-warm function, along with a melting setting at 42°C and a keep-warm function at 94°C.

When using the Grill function, the Bridge function is automatically activated to create a larger cooking area. This feature is ideal for grilling, with specially adapted power distribution designed for use with cast-iron cookware.

Smart Control and Everyday Safety

InTouch allows you to operate a compatible Novy cooker hood directly from the Novy induction hob, helping to keep control simple while you cook.

The Stop&Go function temporarily disables the energy supply. When the key is touched again, all previously set power levels and timers are reused.

For added confidence, this Novy 65cm induction hob also includes child lock, residual heat indicators and automatic pan recognition.

Are there any suitable alternatives to the Novy 1773 65cm Induction Hob I could consider?

Yes, you could consider the Novy 1763 65cm Induction Hob as a simpler same-brand 65cm induction hob option, with the same flush or surface mounting, black finish, 4-zone layout, InTouch control and the same 560 x 490mm cut-out size, but from the lower Power range rather than the Pro range. Alternatively, the Novy 1776 80cm Induction Hob is a more premium same-brand Pro alternative if the customer can accommodate a wider 80cm hob, adding a 5-zone layout while retaining InTouch, bridge, grill and professional cooking functions.
